Store Offers Hands-On, Interactive Retail Experience To Help Consumers Choose Wireless

Ridgeland, Miss. (Oct. 7, 2011) – C Spire Wireless, the largest privately held wireless provider in the U.S. and the first to introduce personalized wireless services, today announced the grand opening of its new 2,800 square foot retail store in Greenville to serve consumer and business customers’ wireless communications needs in the region.
The new, state-of-the-art store, located at 1825 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive near the Walmart Supercenter on Highway 1 South in Greenville, features C Spire’s latest wireless devices, smart phones and accessories, as well as the company’s industry-leading personalization program, which gives customers apps and content that fit who they are, services that anticipate their needs and rewards for using their phone in new ways.
The store officially opens today with an 11:30 a.m. ribbon-cutting, reception and celebration featuring C Spire executives, elected officials and local business and community leaders in Greenville and Washington County. Food, prizes and giveaways will also be a part of the grand opening.
The Greenville store has a state-of-the-art, hands-on design to engage customers and provide a “try before you buy” personalized service experience, according to Joe Wilson, market manager for C Spire in Greenville. Wilson and his 12-member staff are trained to assist consumer and business customers with individual purchasing decisions, personalized customer service and technical support. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The new retail location builds on C Spire’s significant capital and network investments in Greenville and the surrounding area. In addition to spending more than $250,000 on the new store, C Spire has invested more than $1.4 million since 2008 to expand its network and give Greenville and Washington County businesses and consumers the best wireless experience available.
